Joanne Gauthier was born in 1962 in Trois-Rivières-Ouest, Québec, Joanne has been painting “ since time knows when”. After completing her university studies in the visual arts and in education, her primary occupation was teaching the arts for eight years altought she has been painting full time for five years now. This allows her to fully concentrate on perfecting her art. Joanne Gauthier has participated in several solo and group exhibitions. She is one of the permanent artists of several art galeries in Montréal, Québec city, Baie-St-Paul, Toronto, Edmonton and Victoria. Joanne Gauthier’s work can be found in several private collections and has been the suject of several art catalogues.
