Lydie LeGall - Back to the list

Born and raised in Quebec with European origin, Lydie Le Gall is back home after a year in Texas, an other one in Germany and a little family stop in Brittany, France.

Working at the age of 18 years old, she leaves the family business after a couple of years to paint full time giving herself heart and soul to art.

She played hooky at the ‘’Beaux-Arts School’’ and consider herself self-taught. Instead, she explored new materials and methods of application, developing her own style.
She spent most of her summers in France and decided recently to go back to her family roots and bring us back that marvelous houses collection inspired by Brittany.

Rocked by the sea, whipped by the wind, this Breton collection of rural white thatched houses along the coast of Brittany is a discovery of her origin. Perhaps it will touch people of Quebec and remind them of the shores along the St-Laurence River. Maybe it will be the nature of eastern Canadian shores or a forgotten past lost in time space.
